Rachel Watkins has 20+ years’ experience leading the design and deployment of global integrated internal and external communications, change management, and employer branding programs. She has worked with senior executives in every enterprise business function across companies with employee populations from 3,000 to 300,000 worldwide, and up to $120B in revenue.

 

Rachel has delivered successful programs, ranging from internal communications, employer brand, B2B and channel marketing communications to change communications, including merger and acquisition. Her proven expertise working in HR, IT, and marketing organizations (B2B and channel), as well as field and corporate organizations, enables her to rapidly understand diverse perspectives and integrate the needs of multiple stakeholders across traditional business “silos.” As such, Rachel has played a pivotal role in driving transformation and strategic change for companies, and improving workforce alignment, productivity and engagement.

Prior to founding Kinsmore Consulting, Rachel held various communications leadership roles at Hewlett-Packard Company and Xilinx Inc.  Her client roster includes companies such as HP, Intel, and Lam Research.

 

A huge fan of the arts, Rachel also combines her business expertise and creative talent providing pro bono consulting services to the burgeoning non-profit, “Chamber Music Silicon Valley.”  She possesses a strong creative streak and has trained as a singer, actress and voiceover artist, lending her native British accent to everything from partner training videos, product launch ads, and event announcements for global companies, to voicing the jaguar exhibit for San Jose’s Happy Hollow Zoo! Rachel holds a BSc in International Business and French from Aston University, UK; a Diplôme d’Attaché Commerical Export from EDHEC, France; and the Diploma in Marketing as well as Chartered Marketer status from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK. She speaks French and holds both British and American citizenship.
